To score well at golf you must be able to "one putt" four to five greens a round. The average player hits less than 30% of greens in regulation. These statistics mean a player who desires to score well must get up and down from off the green on a consistent basis. This is a good club. I've used it several times around the green with good success. I don't want to risk a think shot with a regular wedge, and this club does the trick. I only have to ask my foursome if it's ok to carry a 15th club...although I could probable drop one of three wedges and be just fine. Great quality grip and solid feel.

I purchased this club to reduce the margin of error. There is so many things that could go wrong if using a lob wedge from the fringe. You may chunk it, hit it thin, or just hit it with an open face. This club minizes those mistakes. Once you get the feel for distance, it will be a life saver.

I bought this because I have some trouble chipping from the fringe and fairway. I have found this club to be very useful and it has most certainly shaved several strokes off my game. I recommend this to players who chili dip or skull their money shots around the green. Those misses can cost you big and this chipper will help stop the bleeding.

Bought the chipper as a Christmas present. Nice present - and considerably less expensive than the name brands. It took me a few holes to get used to the geometry, but once there it was easy to develop confidence with the stroke. It is a handy club up to about 8 feet off the green.
