Bill Baxter's review:

Okay, so it is not Christmas time, but in a roundabout way it is. This is the time of year when we at GigaGolf start to receive the new clubheads for the impending golf season. One of the first to arrive was the Verve iron.

So how does it play? Contact is exceptionally solid on center shots and still solid on off-center shots thanks to the tungsten weight port. The higher trajectory optimizes total carry distance. Off center shots fly straighter with minimal loss of distance. All in all, the new Verve iron is a great choice for players of all ability levels that are looking to incorporate some added technology into their irons.

Robert Wilson's design comments:

The Verve irons were introduced to fill the performance gap between the ultra game improvement C9 irons and the P3 irons. The tungsten insert allowed us to precisely center the sweet spot on the face and has the added benefit of creating a higher initial trajectory that maximizes the performance of today's lower spin balls.

Customer's Comments:

"I came to GigaGolf looking for a set of irons that would give me more consistancy from the fairway. I was luckey to have contacted them while they were doing R&D on the new Verve 17s. Based on what I was looking for, it seemed like a good fit so I volenteered to be one of their gunia pigs. As it turned out, they are everything I hoped they would be. Really solid impact and a strong ball flight. The 5 iron is as easy to hit as the 8 iron. Every club in the set is hard to miss. I moved from a Feather Flight R Flex shaft to a Firm because I have been play more frequently. I am sure that is part of the equation, but overall a great set of irons."
