GigaGolf builds clubs to "New Modern Standard" Club lengths.
Over the past thirty years, standard club lengths have increased to add distance. GigaGolf uses component heads that will establish an optimal balance point between the shaft and head (Commonly know as "Swingweight") when the clubs are built to the lengths detailed in the chart below.
Swingweight is altered when you add and subtract length to your clubs. As you add length to a club, you also increase the swingweight. A club that has one inch added to it will increase approximately 5 swingweights. A common example would be a swingweight change from D1 to D6. The effective result for the golfer is a club that feels and plays heavy, when in reality the actual increase in weight is very small.
Altering the lie of the club in combination with a small length adjustment is the best way to fit a tall or short golfer.
